When you’re trying to find your style, it’s always really hard to work out how much detail to go into. I find that if you make your artwork and your style super detailed from the very get go - it can feel really overwhelming to produce that level of detail every time to keep up your “style”
I’ve been trying to remind myself to simplify my work - every time I do I notice how effective the illustration is with less detail. It’s a hard thing to do!
I drew this so that I could hang in my studio and remind me to keep it simple while I’ve been painting my upcoming exhibition in October.
